How to Migrate Your Eufy Security System E10 to HomeBase Professional S1

To transfer your existing devices from HomeBase 2,3 to HomeBase Professional S1, please follow the steps below:

Update the eufy app on your smartphone/tablet to the latest version.

Update your HomeBase 2, HomeBase 3, and HomeBase Professional to the latest firmware version.

The eufy app will display a device migration reminder, please follow the steps on the app to transfer your existing devices from  HomeBase 2,3 to HomeBase Professional S1.

 


 

If you are an existing Eufy Security user with HomeBase 2 or HomeBase 3 and want to upgrade to the new HomeBase Professional S1, this guide will walk you through the migration process. The One-Click Migration feature streamlines the process, eliminating the need for manual removal and re-adding of devices. Additionally, we’ll cover how to physically transfer your hard drive from HomeBase 3 to HomeBase Professional.

 

One-Click Migration for Devices

The One-Click Migration function is designed to transfer your devices from HomeBase 2 or HomeBase 3 to HomeBase Professional as seamlessly as possible. Here’s how it works:

Steps for One-Click Migration:

  1. Preparation:

    1. Ensure your new HomeBase Professional is powered on and connected to the same network as your existing HomeBase 2 or HomeBase 3.

    2. The Eufy app will automatically detect the new HomeBase Professional and prompt the One-Click Migration option. The photos below show three ways to initiate migration via eufy app:

  1. Select devices you want to migrate:

    1. Follow the on-screen instructions in the eufy app.

    2. Keep the devices close to the HomeBase Professional to maintain a good connection.

    3. Select the devices you want to migrate to HomeBase Professional. (Note: only those devices are compatible with HomeBase Professional S1 can be migrated)

  1. Keep the HomeBase Professional powered on and follow the in-app instructions.

  2. Confirm the migration process, and the app will handle the rest. 

  1. Automatic Binding:

    1. The app will automatically bind your devices to HomeBase Professional without requiring you to remove and re-add them manually.
