Please note that while the eufyCam S3 Pro can be installed outdoors, the HomeBase 3 cannot be installed outdoors as it is not waterproof.

Please refer to the following recommendations when installing your eufyCam S3 Pro outdoors:

1. If there are frequent heavy rains or strong winds in your area, we recommend using the secure outdoor mount bracket when installing the camera. 
2. We recommend installing the camera on a sidewall to ensure the camera’s integrated solar panel has direct exposure to sunlight.
3. Bring your camera and smartphone to the installation location, and then use the app to check the camera’s signal strength to ensure it is an ideal location to mount the camera.
4. Mount the camera approximately 7ft-10ft / 2.1m-3m high and tilt the camera downward at an angle between 5°-10°.
5. Avoid mounting the camera too close to a wall or a light source, as it can cause light reflection at night and impact the quality of video recordings.
