Clean the device before usage (especially the filter)

Before using the new Pet Water Fountain, please clean the bowl with water and soap first. The filter also needs to be soaked under warm running water for 30 seconds before usage to remove the activated carbon particles on the surface of the filter.

Place the water fountain in your cat's usual play area for a few days

If your cat is afraid of the noise coming from the water fountain, please turn off the device and do not run it for a few days. Please wait until your cat approaches the water fountain and tries to drink from the new water fountain, then you can turn on the water fountain for your cat.

Help your cat to familiarize the water fountain

Your cat may be too wary to approach the water fountain when you first set it up. In this situation, you can dip your finger into the water and then bring it to your cat’s lips. This will help your cat to know there is water in the new water fountain.

Reward your cat if it drinks water from the water fountain

Once your cat drinks from the water fountain, you can reward it with treats. By giving positive feedback, your cat would be inclined to drink from the water fountain more frequently.
