Failed to Update eufyCam 3/3C
The eufy Security app will automatically update a device’s status when you first open the app. To learn more about updating your eufyCam, please visit Update Firmware for eufy Security Devices via App for detailed instructions.
If the automatic firmware update fails, please try the following troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue:
1. Please check if the HomeBase is currently online and the network has a stable signal.
2. Please make sure the distance between the camera and HomeBase is within 8m / 26ft with a strong signal.
3. Please check the camera’s LED indicator light status:
- If the LED indicator light is flashing Red and Blue alternately, then this indicates the camera is currently updating. Please wait for approximately five minutes and check the camera’s status again.
- If the LED indicator light is off, please press the SYNC button on the camera.
- If the LED indicator light is flashing blue, then this indicates the camera is powered on.
- If the LED indicator light is flashing red, then this indicates the camera needs to be recharged due to its low-battery state. Please fully charge the camera first, and then update the camera again by going to Camera Settings > General > About Device > Check for firmware update.
