If the HomeBase failed to update its firmware automatically, please try the following troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue:
1. Please check if the HomeBase’s LED indicator light status is solid Blue.
- If it is, try restarting the HomeBase by unplugging and plugging in the power adapter cable.
- After the HomeBase reboots, try updating the firmware again by opening the eufy Security app and selecting HomeBase Settings > General > About Device > Check for firmware update.
2. If the HomeBase’s LED indicator light status is Red, please wait for approximately five minutes as the HomeBase may be rebooting after installing a new firmware update. If the LED indicator light is still red after five minutes, it is recommended to check if the Ethernet cable is plugged in correctly and if your WiFi router has Internet access.
3. If the HomeBase’s LED indicator light status is flashing Red and Blue alternately, then this indicates the HomeBase is currently updating its firmware. Please wait for approximately 10 minutes and check the HomeBase’s status again.
