If your eufy Water Sensor, Smoke Listener, or Siren cannot connect to your WiFi network, please try the following troubleshooting steps listed in this article to resolve the issue.
1. Please make sure you have pressed and held the device’s SYNC button for at least three seconds until the LED indicator is blinking a blue light. If the LED indicator is blinking a red light or does not display any light, please replace the CR123 battery and try the setup process again.
2. Check if your HomeBase has Internet access. The LED indicator on the HomeBase should display a steady blue light.
3. Press and hold the CYCLE button on the back of the HomeBase to reboot the HomeBase, and then add the device again.
4. Depending on the make and model of your phone, please download the latest version of the eufy app from the App Store or Google Play.
5. Launch the eufy app and select HomeBase > HomeBase Settings > General > About Device > Check for latest firmware to manually update the firmware to the latest version.
6. After the HomeBase is updated to the latest firmware version, you should be able to add the device without issues.
