How to Pair the IndoorCam With HomeBase 3?
During the pairing process, there should be an option for you to choose which type of videos you want to store in the HomeBase.
Why does the continuous recording fail to be stored in my HomeBase 3?
- To store the continuous recording, please know that a hard drive is needed to be inserted into your HomeBase 3. To choose the right hard drive for your HomeBase, please refer to this article:

- Please make sure you have chosen “ Continuous Recording and Events” in the Edge Connection page (Devices Page>Your Indoor Camera> “...” icon> Gear icon> Camera Settings> Edge Connection> Store Video to HomeBase 3> Continuous Recording and Events)
Do I still need an SD card after connecting my indoor camera to HomeBase 3?
No. After pairing the indoor camera with the HomeBase 3, both the events and the continuous recording can be stored in the HomeBase. (Note: To store the continuous recording, a hard drive is needed to be inserted into your HomeBase 3)
You can make the recordings backup in both HomeBase 3 and SD card if there is such a need.
Can continuous recording videos’ quality reach 2K?
No. Even connecting to HomeBase 3, the 2K Indoor camera can only have continuous videos in 1080P. The event videos’ quality can reach 2K (SD card needed). Without the SD card, all the videos recorded in the HomeBase 3 can only get 1080P.
