The S120 Solar Wall Light Cam is equipped with a comprehensive dashboard that provides users with vital power and battery-related data. This feature is designed to enhance user experience by allowing you to monitor and manage the performance of your device. As part of eufy’s commitment to continuous improvement, we plan to add more features to the dashboard in the future.
To access the Dashboard feature, simply refer to the following steps: Device tab > Camera Settings > Power Manager > Dashboard.
Battery Trend
One of the key features of the dashboard is the device’s battery trend. This feature displays battery data and trends in the past seven days and 30 days, respectively. These trends may fluctuate slightly due to a variety of factors. By monitoring these trends, you can identify the factors contributing to battery usage, allowing you to manage your device's battery power more effectively.
Solar Charging
The Solar Charging feature on the dashboard provides daily solar charging data in the past seven days and 30 days, respectively. This data is influenced by a range of factors. If you notice a decrease in solar charging performance, it could be due to the following factors:
Note: The daily dashboard will refresh at midnight on the following day. It is normal to see a blank solar charging data page on the first day of use. Please check this data the next morning.
1. Battery Protection Mechanism
The S120 Solar Wall Light Cam can be charged up to 96% at most during solar charging. The device will start charging again once the power drops below 90%.
2. Charging Temperature Limit
The S120 Solar Wall Light Cam can charge via solar energy within the temperature range of 0°C to 57°C (32°F to 134.6°F).
3. Solar Panel Obstruction
If the panel becomes blocked or covered, it can affect the absorption of solar energy, resulting in poor charging performance.
4. Weather
Rainy or cloudy weather can affect the availability of solar energy, resulting in poor charging performance.
5. Equipment Malfunction
If the solar panel malfunctions, it can affect charging performance.
To ensure optimal charging performance, it is recommended to regularly clean the solar panel, check the weather conditions, and manually recharge the camera if necessary.
Consumption
The Consumption feature shows the change in power consumption over the past seven days and 30 days, respectively. Additionally, it highlights the device’s major power-consuming activities. This can give you a better understanding of your device’s overall battery power consumption.
If the device is consuming too much power, please refer to the following recommendations that will help lower the device’s power consumption:
1. Avoid installing the Wall Light Cam at a location that faces a road with heavy traffic, as this may frequently trigger recordings, leading to rapid power consumption.
2. Set the device’s "Working Mode" to "Optimal Battery Life".
3. Set the device’s "Motion Detection” mode to "Human".
4. Set up activity zones to monitor specific areas of interest only.
The data displayed on the dashboard is historical power data, which means that data from the previous day and earlier are displayed. It is important to note that the same day’s current data will show up after midnight. However, if the device is offline, it will fail to report the power consumption data during the offline period, and the report will appear without data.
