For optimal performance, it is not recommended to use RoboVac in the following scenarios:
- Thick or plush carpets that are thicker than the data shown in the above chart, as RoboVac's brushes and wheels would have a high possibility of getting stuck.
- Black/ very dark-colored carpets, as they may cause RoboVac to malfunction. The drop sensors located at the bottom of the vacuum work with infrared rays to detect the edges for potential drop spots. However, black or dark-colored areas will interfere with the infrared ray by creating blind spots so the sensors on the vacuum will not be able to detect the surroundings to function normally.
- Fold tasseled edges of area rugs underneath to prevent tangling RoboVac.
- Wall-to-wall carpet
With the guidance from the built-in gyroscope (G20/G30/G+ series) and the path tracking sensor (G30 and G+ series only), G series RoboVac is able to determine the direction and distance of its movement and automatically determine its cleaning route according to the zigzag cleaning method. When the entire floor has been cleaned, it will start cleaning the edges and corners of the house by following the edge of the walls.
Please note that thick carpets could cause the G series RoboVac to be stuck, which would affect the accuracy of the map (cleaning route) shown on the eufy Clean app.
