How to Use Anker Liberty Buds 2 for Music and Calls on Windows and Mac

Windows and Mac handle Bluetooth audio devices a bit differently, so the setup steps aren't quite the same on each. This article covers both.

Windows

Windows shows the earbuds as two separate device profiles rather than one, since it treats music playback and call audio as different Bluetooth audio modes:

1. For music or general audio playback, set the PC's audio output to "Anker Liberty Buds 2 Stereo."

2. For calls or conferencing apps (Zoom, Teams, etc.), set both microphone and speaker to "Anker Liberty Buds 2 Hands-Free" — either directly in the app if it allows device selection, or in the computer's system audio settings if it doesn't.

3. Adjust volume in both the app and the system settings, since some apps maintain their own volume level separate from Windows.

Mac

macOS combines both use cases into a single device name — set the audio input and output to "Anker Liberty Buds 2" and it'll handle both music and calls with no separate profile to choose.
